Yes. Many Abby & Noah Co. sensory-regulation products may be reimbursable through an HSA or FSA with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN).
Commonly reimbursed items include:
- Sensory swings
- Compression hoodies & garments
- Weighted blankets & lap pads
- Wearable Hugs
- Body socks
- Sensory tents
- Noise-reducing headphones
- Therapeutic fidget tools
- Visual timers
Why do I need a Letter of Medical Necessity?
The IRS allows HSA/FSA funds to cover items that treat or manage a diagnosed condition, such as:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- ADHD
- Anxiety
- Sensory Processing Disorder
- Trauma-related dysregulation

Who can sign the LMN?
- Physicians (MD/DO)
- Nurse Practitioners
- Physician Assistants
- Licensed Clinical Psychologists
- Some Occupational Therapists (depending on plan)
How to use your HSA/FSA with Abby & Noah Co.
Option 1 β Reimbursement (Most Common)
- Purchase your sensory product.
- Have your provider complete the Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) .
- Submit the LMN + receipt to your plan.
- Receive reimbursement.
Option 2 β Pay with HSA/FSA card
Some cards may approve the purchase automatically, but many require an LMN on file. If your card is declined, you can still follow Option 1.
What documentation do I need?
- A completed LMN
- Your receipt showing:
- Product name
- Date of purchase
- Product cost
- Abby & Noah Co. as the seller
